It is clear that I should have purchased my rail pass and accomodation upfront about two weeks ago for my second Japanese Trip. Why?
So it will be my second trip to Japan and it will be x2 expensive. But deep down once I'm there I will not give a rats because I'd rather pay double for 13 meters of powder snow then spend summer bored at home. Plus I managed to get my flights down from $1600AUD to $1000AUD return through some sweet talking to Jetstar about how I shouldn't be paying in YEN to upgrade my ticket!
