you know i never thought it could come to this.. but its Outkast's Hey Ya done by a band called 'Obadiah Parker' and it really makes the lyrics sound soulful and heartbreaking... well right until the shake it bit, then it's pure strum-out solo stuff. check the video via youtube [here]. it's on my playlist of remixes that change a whole songs meaning for nicoass.
in other news my house now has a working fridge. i still cannot budget to save my life. joy. had a lovely weekend away with mwp. i hoped to find some moments of pleasure in between a life filled with some struggle at the moment. i found a puppy named jack, a conversation had with a horse who went fo-to-friend in about 1 hour (nico's future career as a horse wisperer?), a lovely dinner, a fire crackling away, cold nights with clear skies and big stars, exploring a new part of the planet, wind farms (?) and giving someone a gift they love.
i'm enjoying exploring living in the new house, becoming settled which is nice, but trying to push myself to do the things that are hard for me. growing growing growing, that's it. so i'm off to look at contents insurance. oh that budget is so stuffed!
